EDMOND PUBLIC SCHOOLS Kinderartent 2024-25 Kindergarten placement will be different from other grade levels. Kindergarten is the only state-mandated grade where teachers do not already have knowledge of incoming students. All EPS kindergarten classrooms will participate in K-Start for the first five days of school. Why? To be more intentional in establishing thriving classroom communities. Balanced classrooms help create a successful kindergarten experience! Teachers • Observe children in a purposeful play environment • Connect with children and learn individual personalities Students • Become familiar with kindergarten classrooms & teachers in a structured setting • Engage in purposeful play activities Parents will receive a video introduction from their child's teacher august 21

🔔 Parents/guardians will need to complete an Annual Update for the 2024-2025 school year by logging into the Parent Portal (not the Campus Parent app). Upon login, scroll down and select “More” in the lower left corner of your portal screen, then select “Online Registration,” then select “Start” on the “2024-2025 Existing Student Annual Update.” You will verify your existing information and make any needed changes.
