Dear Centennial Families,
I am excited to be writing to you as the new Head Principal of Centennial Elementary for the 2024-25 school year!
My name is Stephanie Perry and I am eager to meet all of the Centennial Buffalo families. I have heard many great things about Centennial and can not wait to join this amazing community. While I may be a new name and face to most of you, I am very familiar with Edmond Public Schools. I have been working in EPS for 25 years. I have spent most of my time teaching at Chisholm Elementary, with one year of teaching at Cimarron Middle School. As an administrator, I initially served the district as assistant principal at West Field Elementary for two years. This past school year I had the unique opportunity to be the site administrator at the Edmond Early Childhood Center and the assistant principal at Clegern and Russell Dougherty.
Each of these experiences has allowed me to follow my passion to be a champion for students and teachers. I knew at a young age that I was meant to be in education. My heart is for every student to grow and learn in academics and to also become a well-rounded citizen.
My family has been actively involved in the Edmond community for many years. My husband, Scott, and I have two children; Zach who will be a senior, and Addison who will be a Junior, both are at Memorial High School. The Perry family is looking forward to learning more about Centennial.
While I hope to share more about myself in the upcoming school year, I am looking forward to meeting as many families and students as possible at our Buffalo Breakfast in August. Our amazing PTO and I will be working over the summer, as well, to plan many wonderful events. YOU are the heart of our school! I ‘m looking forward to collaborating with our families and staff. You will be hearing more from me as we get closer to the start of the new school year.
I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing school! It is a privilege to be a part of your child’s education and share this amazing journey. Looking forward to meeting you and your child in August!
