A Letter to You from your Child’s Principal, Ellie Webb

Dear Centennial Parents and Families,
My name is Ellie Adkins Webb, and I am very grateful and honored to have the opportunity to team with you in supporting your child as the principal of Centennial Elementary School beginning in the 2021-2022 school year!

Over the past twenty-three years of serving in education (9 years at campus/district administrative levels and 14 years of classroom teaching), I have worked to realize my life’s mission: To support children in realizing their innate potential because their futures are worth my time. Simply, I love people (and children are some of my favorites)! As a passionate mom, grandma, and educator, I know what your child (and his/her success) means to you. As your children are the most precious things in your world, I want to assure you that they are also most precious to our Centennial staff. Providing a safe, caring, student-centered, fun, and creative learning environment for your child which facilitates “productive struggle” that grows all learners is my goal. My question will always be, “What if this were my child?”

In working with our campus teams to continue the tradition of excellence that has been firmly established at Centennial, it is our aim that you and your child feel warmly welcomed and excited coming to school each day. In an environment of high expectations and high support, our students, staff and community will continue to thrive. I’m excited to join the wonderful Edmond Public Schools and Centennial team to partner with you in your child’s learning journey!

With kind regards,
Ellie Adkins Webb (a.k.a. “Ms. Webb”)
